Green Aluminium Industry Leader, ALVANCE British Aluminium, achieves certification to the Aluminium Stewardship Performance Standard V3
ALVANCE British Aluminium is delighted to announce that they have been certified against the latest Aluminium Stewardship Performance Standard – V3. This certification is a testament to ALVANCE’s unwavering commitment to sustainable practices, responsible sourcing, and industry-leading Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. By meeting the rigorous requirements of the ASI Performance Standard V3, ALVANCE has demonstrated its dedication to transparency, traceability, and promoting responsible production throughout the aluminium value chain. ALVANCE British Aluminium’s achievement of this certification is a significant milestone in our journey towards a more sustainable future. It reinforces our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, promoting circular economy principles, and fostering positive social impact across the communities where we operate – values that have been part of our DNA for almost 100 years in Lochaber.
The ASI Performance Standard V3 is recognised as the most comprehensive and rigorous sustainability standard for the aluminium industry, covering key aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, responsible sourcing, biodiversity, human rights and labour practices. It sets a benchmark for responsible operations and provides assurance to customers, employees and stakeholders that ALVANCE’s products are produced with sustainable and ethical principles as core guiding principles.
