Established in 1929, Alvance British Aluminium has been a prominent employer in Lochaber for many years. With a workforce of approximately 200 individuals, we are proud to employ professionals with diverse expertise, knowledge, and skills in various disciplines, including civil engineering, health and safety management, smelter operations, accounting, power maintenance, and rural estate management.

Additionally, we offer modern apprenticeships and, more recently, graduate apprenticeships in partnership with UHI Inverness and Glasgow Caledonian University, in a wide range of fields such as engineering and accounting. Production Operators

The Production Operators role involves a variety of tasks involved in the production of high-quality Aluminium. You will be expected to adhere to site HSE standards, work towards set production targets in a safe and efficient manner and be engaged in improving standards and processes.

The Role

This role involves a variety of tasks involved in the production of high-quality Aluminium.  You will be expected to adhere to site HSE standards, work towards set production targets in a safe and efficient manner and be engaged in improving standards and processes.

This is a diverse role which involves various production & quality tasks, as well as operating both forklift trucks and overhead cranes (remote & cab controlled) and some other mobile plant equipment.  This is a 12hr shift based role, following a set pattern of dayshift and nightshift and we operate 24/7 all year round.

Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 2 days off, 3 nights on, 7 days off
