Staff Fundraise £2,500 for the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team

This week, we had the privilege of officially handing £2,500 to the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team with funds raised through a site-wide raffle supported by an incredible range of generous donations from a variety of local businesses.

This is a cause that means a great deal to all of us at ALVANCE British Aluminium. Many of our team spend time in the mountains and wild places of Lochaber, and we know first-hand the vital role that the Lochaber MRT plays in keeping our community safe.

This year’s fundraising also carried special significance as it was held in memory of our former colleague and friend, Steven Pollok, a much-loved member of our team who had a passion for climbing and the community that surrounds it. His loss deeply affected many of us and the professionalism and support of the Lochaber MRT brought comfort when it was needed most.
