National Manufacturing Day Reception at No. 11 Downing Street
On Thursday 25th September, our Business Development Manager, James Tangney, attended a reception at No. 11 Downing Street to mark National Manufacturing Day 2025.
Hosted in partnership with Make UK, the event celebrated the strength of UK manufacturing. James spoke directly with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, sharing insights on some of the challenges currently facing the aluminium industry.
James is also a founding member and chairman of the Make UK Special Interest Group for the Production and Processing of UK Aluminium. Pictured with him is Jim Davison, National Membership Director at Make UK.
