Celebrating Rosie Flannigan as ‘Volunteer of the Year’ at the Voscars
Alvance British Aluminum are so proud to share that Rosie Flannigan has been named ‘Volunteer of the Year’ today at this year’s Voscars by Voluntary Action Lochaber! 🎉
Rosie quietly leads our Social Committee – often in her own time – organising raffles, fitness challenges, and community events that have raised around £10,000 for local charities.
She does all this alongside her full-time role as a Production Supervisor, while also studying for a business degree.
From picking out Christmas gifts for local kids to baking her famous Empire biscuits, Rosie puts care and energy into everything she does.
We’re lucky to have her. And so is Lochaber.
As Volunteers’ Week draws to an end, we’d also like to say a huge thank you to all our staff who give their time to a variety of brilliant local causes, giving their energy and heart to support others both on site and in the wider community. ❤️
In the first photo by Iain Ferguson (Alba Photos), Rosie’s pictured with Jane MacDonald, our Head of Operational Excellence.
