This year Alvance British Aluminium has continued to strengthen our work on sustainability. As the UK’s only primary aluminium smelter, powered by our own hydropower, we recognise the responsibility that comes with this role.

In 2024 we reduced emissions, increased recycling and worked more closely with our community. We invested in enhanced apprenticeships, training and safety across the site, ensuring people remain at the centre of what we do.

This progress has only been possible thanks to the commitment of our employees, partners and neighbours.
